About the Farm

• Parkers Poultry And Livestock Farm is a small family business based in South Africa run by Jason & Helen and their two sons Jim & James, what started as a hobby has now spiraled to a thriving popular enterprise. We started keeping poultry of our own in 1994, like many poultry keepers our first chickens were ex battery hens, but it wasn’t long before we fancied keeping some pure breeds and from then on there was no looking back, the showing bug had bitten.

 

• We then gradually started keeping more and more breeds which were acquired from other local fanciers who we met at local shows and through poultry societies which helped to develop our knowledge in all poultry matters. Our sons James & Jim were both very interested in poultry which led to yet more breeds being kept.

 

• We now keep and sell around 50 pure breeds, hatching eggs in season and due to popular demand 11 colours of point of lay hyrbrids.
  Our hens are “Free Range” reared here on the farm.majority of our lay point are 16 to 19 weeks old with body weight between 2.7 to 3.1 kg at point of sale.
  We have “Caged” reared hens.

 

• Our point of lay start laying within 18 to 21 weeks.

 

• Our chicken will stay a minimum of 2 days and a Maximum of 1week before start laying once you start feeding them with the MASH LAYER FEED.

 

• We also supply white and brown Eggs in bulk.
  All sizes available(Small, Medium, Large, X-Large and Jumbo

LIVESTOCK;

We have the healthiest livestock in goats and sheep for meat and breeding in the country and we sell at very affordable prices to all our customers.We take good care and also offer tutoring on raising livestock and we sell feed on regular occasions.We feed our stock fresh water and health fresh and dry alphaha as they have good live weight up to 120kgs per head.We deliver to all different locations and across our boarders and we have all paperwork and licene to assist develop farmers and transport livestock.
